The list of happy clients is very long now. Mr R.L. Verma has always followed a basic principle of business. In his words -“Maal kabi khatam nahi hona chaiye. Koi customer khali na jaye” It means he always instructed his team members to never let any item to be scarce in the store. Whoever comes to purchase any specific book, should never be disheartened by not finding the book at our store.
His sons Mr Mohinder & Mr Pankaj have completely taken over the business very well and making it big with their own modern and innovative approach. They are also further introducing third generation of the family in their business.
From being one of the top retail counters in local area to being one of the oldest and most reliable library supplier in all regions like Himachal, Punjab, Haryana and also places like Leh Ladakh, Variety Book Store has come a long way. Our supply of books has reached remote areas like Kinnaur and Reckong Peo as well.
Working in good faith with honest intent for fair business has been a strong pillar of the business. Alot of changes have happened in all these years to keep up with the pace of time. But as by the company’s name – stocking of a large VARIETY of BOOKS has been a constant factor always.
The main asset of the company are old repeated clients. Specially those who remember buying books for themselves from our store in their college days, then enjoyed buying books for their children and are now cherishing to visit our store again to purchase books for their grand children. Many customers considered buying books from us as a lucky charm for their entrance exams whereas on the other hand many customers who have now become doctors, engineers, IAS officers, Magistrate etc. visit again at our store and share their sweet memories of buying books from us.

Rest you will found many variety of books, like general knowledge and all competitive exam books and others.
Staff was very friendly and helpful..

It is advisable to come here early into the semester to get the good quality study material easily.
