The design of the memorial consists of two squares in angular relationship signifying the day of birth and day of assassination. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very peaceful place. This is the memorial of Rajiv Gandhi. You can also visit other memorials here like Raj ghat for Mahatma Gandhi, Santhivan for Jawaharlal Nehru, Sakthisthal for Indira Gandhi etc. Well maintained area. Normal time to visit is around 2 hours to complete all memorials.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A memorial park where our beloved Prime Minister Sh. RAJIV Ghandhi was creminated between Raj Ghat and Shakti Sthal . Very beautiful and well maintained memorial park. Really worth to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Vir Bhumi is a memorial dedicated to the former Indian Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi who was assassinated in 1991. The memorial features a sculptural group of lotus flowers, which you wouldn’t know was a memorial except for the wall of honour with a biography of Gandhi. There’s also a second wall with a portrait of Gandhi amongst the general public in bronze relief The memorial is situated close to many other Samadhis inside the memorial park including that of Mahatma Gandhi, and the mother of Rajiv, Indira.
The memorial is somewhat innocuous looking, but for its proximity to that of the 2 aforementioned memorials. I wouldn’t go out of the way to see this unless you’re already visiting Raj Ghat.
