β β β β β One of the greatest place to visit?
This place would definitely evoke an amalgamation of senses within you
-The sense of responsibility, Respect, Patriotism, Attachment, Struggle, Suffering, Sacrifice and pride??
The very air of this place is full of emotions.
Looking at the names of our brave martyred soldiers would definitely bring grief to you but the gallantry of our soldiers would always be enough to overcome every sadness??
I recommend everyone to visit this place specially at the evening to encounter the retreat ceremony. While exiting you will find a Souvenir shop where you can buy various items clothes , comic books about brave stories of our soldiers, caps, jewellery, novels etc.

β β β β β This place needs no introduction. This war memorial was built to honour and remember soldiers of the Indian military who fought in armed conflicts of independent India. This place is situated in front of Iconic India Gate. Nearest Metro is Central Secretariat. You can either book Ola/Uber or can take rickshaws to the memorial directly. Must visit if you're planning a tour around New Delhi.

β β β β β A must visit place, designed by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. India Gate is part of the war memorial, built to commemorate Indian members of the British Indian Army killed during World War I. It details the glorious past of our soldiers. The gardens, water fountains add beauty to the place. You could buy souvenirs from the shop inside the memorial. The whole place is well maintained, to grab the full beauty of the place, it's recommended to visit after 6pm. Last entry is at 7-7:30. Entry is free.

β β β β β I was honored to visit the place, my head bows with gratitude for all protecting us. The decorum of the place is strictly maintained by the security personnels. The place was neat and tidy with no hawkers troubling the visitors. My only feed back is, parking facilities can be better.

It's a national monument dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers who had laid down there life for our country and to protect fellow countrymen. A beautiful landscape, organised, disciplined, clean and neat place with proper display of valour and different battles which adds historical knowledge to common citizens. A extremely well constructed and lightened monument. A must visit for all Indian citizen.
