It's a beautiful, peaceful spot away from the hustle of the city. A really wonderful place to explore diversity of India, considering different aspects and sections. Must visit if you're into history and art or if you are simply looking for some peace in this fast moving city.

Situated in South Delhi, near Pragati Maidan, the crafts museum is a treat to the eyes. If you enjoy learning about cultures and crafts, you’ll definitely be amazed by the museum. The museum has numerous galleries, village complex, crafts demonstration, AV room, amphitheater and a restaurant called Cafe Lota.

Beautiful place with a serene atmosphere. Although you might not have any prior knowledge of ancient handicrafts or arts, but you certainly get to know a lot through this place. And even if you don't want that, a small walk throughout the museum will instill you with warmth. A place that deserves to exist.

I have visited here in National Crafts Musium with Family. I loved the place because my kids enjoyed and learn something new. This is not just a photo museum. Here you can see history of our culture and daily living things in olden days. New generation have not seen that kind of things which was used by our ancestors. I have visited on Sunday and I did not need to wait to enter into the museum. Tickets can be purchased inside the museum. You need to pay 20 rupees only per person. This museum built in a large area so you need to have at least 2 hours to watch whole museum. You can't do videography in some areas but you can click pictures everywhere.

Phenomenal collection of Indian crafts, textiles, and art. Highly highly recommend checking this place out for an informative and relaxing experience. Love their collections. If able to, the audio tour provides great context about the exhibits. Many times they will also have live vendors and musicians for you.
