Weekends are crowded due to Mumbai crowd.
Locals here fleece money under pretext of admission.
Police authorities must stop this extortion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vihigaon waterfall is a seasonal waterfall situated at Vihigaon village at a distance of 13.5 km from Igatpuri and 59 km from Nashik. This is also known as the Ashoka Waterfall and is situated in a deep forest near the Thane district of Maharashtra.
The road is very good and clean
The climate is awesome.
Everyone should visit once in the season
while going to Igatpuri, we took a detour and visited this magnificent waterfall. its huge and we had to climb down several stairs to reach it.
Best time to visit is mansoon season
Saturday sunday there is huge crowd.
the water was gushing down heavily and people were bathing in the pool that was created by the jutting rocks. the place was lovely. it was feeling cold. the adjoining areas were beautiful. serene, and green, the place was goof enough to stay back for a couple of hours.
Now a day they are not allowing to enter in the waterfall due to covid safety measure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nature lovers will absolutely enjoy this place. Although, we visited this place in December which meant not much volume of water in the falls, still it is pretty to attract the visitors. The movie scene for Ashoka was shot at this place. One must visit this during the rainy season to fully enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the location is a bit hard to get through. If going from nsk there are 2 ways 1 one is a short one and second one is a long one, go through the long one short one is for off-roaders :) we went here in winter season so there was obviously not much water so you should only go in monsoons. Also the place seemed kinda unsafe so park your car near the entrance and don't keep any expensive things in it! Rest you should visit here for once!

care must be taken tht the falls contain huge sharp rocks so be very careful when you step inside the water .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No point going here, it's closed for a few years. The fall is still there but water may be there only during monsoon. And very steep steps to access bottom of fall

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best part of this waterfall is that it has a proper viewing point. The view point from where you can click good pictures with safety. Government has also installed washrooms pods. There is proper staircase to the foot of the waterfall. Due to the covid restrictions in Maharashtra this is closed for public on weekends. The village people are very helpful and nice. They helped us navigate the route properly from the main gate. Bikers can park their bike on the top then visit the foot of the waterfall using the staircase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful waterfall during monsoon near Igatpuri. The surroundings are beautiful and full of shades of green. Due to Covid-19 restrictions no 1is allowed to go near the waterfall. We can take pics and see the waterfall from the fence.
