★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really neat and clean with seating arrangements,washroom facility...... Will get buses like c8(joka-barasat),e45(joka-digha),c37(amtala-howrah station),m16a(joka-tollygunge metro) and many more you will also get ac buses like ac4b and ac4r...... Service is also very good.... Staffs are really helpful..... Will definitely recommend it to all who is willing to travel or is traveling in any of this routes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to ongoing metro construction, place is heavily polluted. Other than that, bus services have improved after merger of all State Transport corporations. Buses are almost immediate on time.
Buses operating are --
C8 (to Barasat via Tollygunge / Gariahat / Ruby / Science City / Sector V / Newtown / Ecopark / Airport / Madhyamgram);
E45 (to Digha via Tollygunge / Rabindra Sadan / Vidyasagar Setu / Kolaghat / Nandakumar);
M16A (spcl. bus service after Majherhat bridge collapse // to Tollygunge Tram depot via Haridevpur);
M17 (spcl. bus service after Majherhat bridge collapse // to Majherhat Stn. via Behala)
1st service of C8 - 6:00am // Last one at 8:30 - 8:45pm
Previously, there was tram services upto Esplanade but it has been long terminated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is wbtc bus depot.previously it was joka tram depot.After closing tram services from joka, government makes it wbtc bus depot.Very clean place, public washroom available.C8( JOKA BARASAT), E45( JOKA DIGHA),C36( JOKA HOWRAH),M16A( joka Tollygunge),AC4B( JOKA NEWTOWN),AC4R( JOKA RUBY) buses departure from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This depot is yet to be organised properly. Entrance should be concretized and hard land and should be done first. At present the entrance is very narrow and in bad shape. They are doing in the front part but slowly. The area land development has to be done properly so that no water logging at the entrance and in whole premises. Bus windows opening are very small and despite many new buses are there it feels stuffy. Design of the buses should be upgraded. Overall total situation of this huge depot to be improved and should be at par with good bus depots of southern states and Mumbai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Earlier this place was known as the Joka Tram Depot, the area was undeveloped and tram tracks looped around through an empty field. After the closure of Joka - Behala tramway stretch, bus services became the primary focus. The depot was developed to have garages,sheds,shelters and other facilities.
The route C8 is available from here every 20-30 minutes apart. Also the M16A buses operated by Joka Depot are available.
S3W services are unreliable and far apart.
AC4B services are average during office hours.
Joka Depot also provides buses for Long Distance Bus Services from Esplanade and other city services include C37,C38.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bus terminus for C8 and S3W bus routes...
Freequncy of C8 has improved since before...however freequncy for S3W is very poor...
This terminus is currently under makeover...
A washroom has also being made for public utility...
Hope that once makeover is done this place will get a complete new look...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joka Bus Depot for WBTC Busses. It's spacious, has a small toilet (difficult for ladies). There's is a bus starter's office from where passengers may enquirie bus timing. Unfortunately, not many routes are being operated from this Depot. Besides, regular bus stoppage is a bit far (walking distance) for other busses that are operating on Diamond Harbor Road.
