First time doing any sort of yoga and it is awesome..Fantastic place to exercise, sweat & practice inner balance. Instructors are supportive and knowledgeable. Place is well maintained and clean. I would recommend to EVERYONE. Especially if you hate the gym and want to change your life for the better.

After trying different weight loss programs over the years I was not very hopeful when I joined Yogalife’s weight loss yoga over zoom (thanks to Covid-19) in April 2020. Though I was not new to Sivananda yoga, with Smita’s way of combining asanas and exercises with diet changes to ensure muscle strengthening and targeting weight loss I started seeing a difference in 5 weeks. Smita helped break the myth that weight and inch loss are difficult when you get older. I am 60 and lost 5 kilos during the program and close to 10 kgs since April by continuing the practice - specifically inches lost in target areas were unbelievable! So i am confident that this loss is sustainable with following the routine. Smita has developed these routines with years of experience and I am continuing to benefit by following these routines. Thanks Smita for changing my life!

Dear Smita, My wife Sudha has been following different programs for for the last 10 years including personal trainer. It works for some time but never consistent weight reduction. I have managed my weight at ideal weight for the last 30+ years through exercise and active life style. Sudha's body type and genetics are different. With diet and other exercises she has never been able to make sustainable progress. With your program she was able to not only reduce gradually to ideal body weight but also maintain it. Also her problem was the need to reduce targeted areas which she is able to do it through targeted reduction in your program, with no risk of injuries. Namaste Smitta I'm writing from British Columbia, Canada to thank you for the wonderful course entitled Weight Loss and Detox, that was recently held over five weekends with direct supervision by you during the weekends classes; included were directions for us participants to practice the programme during the week and support regarding programme dedicated foods and kriyas; I felt completely supported throughout and always knew you were there to answer concerns and questions promptly, when needed. I had discovered your studio when I decided two years ago to make a committment to myself to practice Yoga at at home by myself five days a week. I am familiar with the Sivananda school so I looked for Sivananda teachers on You Tube. After trying few classes I found Yogalife.in and quickly recognized Smitta'sΒ Β leadership, teaching skills and deep knowledge about yoga as an eightfold practice. The class was taken over Zoom but I could have been in the studio as I got plenty of attention from Smitta to make sure I was doing the asanas correctly; Bina provided demonstration as needed. I lost 3kgs which is still off. I feel more flexible and my mind is more sharp and have more energy. I also feel more comfortable because I'm eating food that is much more Sattvic and therefore easier on my digestive tract. What I love about the Sivananda School of Yoga is its Standardization, which means I can go anywhere in the world and will receive the same standard of teaching as I would at any Sivananda Ashram in India I did not have to take time to learn new systems. Smitta thank so so much for your deep dedication and sincerity and amazing personal attention to me . I would not hesitate for even on second to recommend Yogalife.in and your studio.

Great experience learning the practice of yoga over the Internet. Despite being on Zoom, the quality of sessions is always great. Smita ji always pays lot of attention to the detail and I am always amazed by her eagle eye providing feedback on finer points during the poses. The sessions are well designed and very methodical, and I have greatly benefitted from joining the practice, and would highly recommend Sivananda Yogalife to anyone interested in following the practice of Yoga.

I can't thank Smita ma'am enough for her patient guidance and intelligent design of this program. More than just losing weight, this is a well balanced and healthy way of mindfulness. Trying my best to follow the instructions, I have been able to lose 2 kgs, improve the quality of sleep and refine my daily yoga practice with increased flexibility. Although in each session it felt like u were getting at is with such revenge ?, but it's all worth it when looking back! You have given a whole new meaning to consistent simple efforts like regular activity, zero sugar, abundant warm water, daily walks in this program. THANK YOU AGAIN ☺️

I have been practising yoga on and off since many years but last year when I was unable to go out due to COVID situations, my niece suggested joining Smita’s online Sivananda yoga classes. Believe me this is one of the best things to have happened in my life. Smita is very punctual and systematic. Yog asanas are designed in such a way that each and every part of your body is taken care of. Before joining, I used to wear knee cap while exercising, due to pain in my right knee. I did not even realise how and when my knee pain is completely gone due to yoga, it’s such a relief. I also joined Smita’s weight loss program, lost 4 kg in one month and aim to continue following her instructions on yoga and diet program in order to loose some more weight. Overall I find this program a very healthy way of loosing and maintaining the lost weight and highly recommend it to every body. Thanks Smita.
