First they need how talk with patient party. 26/11/21 I went there for consultation, here a male management staff badly behave towards me. He is so arrogant to solve my queries, I feel like that I went to a government hospital. Never will chose for this hospital.

First I have visited another eye care there the have prescribed laser treatment I have done it in a single day. But due to my father request
I have to visit with my father to this one.
2 visit complete my treatment not even started. But just confirm for laser treatment. In next visit..
And expence 3 time .... No more..?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for second experience we had there and again it was pathetic doctors are not experienced only trainee doctor do the check up they actually make situation worse for normal problems so be cautious before going there.
So both time we have faced bad situation long waiting and doctors dont give time and its only business there.
I went for eye test and power check up the opthalmologist there gave me so much high power that after making glasses it was of money and time. It took me 3hrs to get power and then i was given wrong power. Don't go for power checkup there if you want to save your time and money

Supportive stuff. Kudos to the female workforce for their end to end cordial behavior.
Test costs are moderate. Can't comment on operations or cost of operatives

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was a lower rating I would gladly give it.Went early at 9:00 as we got the appointment at 9:30 but we didn't get all till around 11 :30 .After that we were told to do some test although we already did all the necessary test from the hospital itself just a month ago as the 1 month period was given for medication to get the surgery but we were sent up and down from the ground floor till 5th floor and had been going to all the counters to pay the test fees and this lasted till 5 pm where at last I was told to go home and come the next day. Couldn't even ask any questions as the staff will rudely ask us to just sit down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to give this hospital higher rating but the way it's looting the patient has no other example. I went there for my wife's pterygium issue. The hospital was too crowded even in Corona. But the process was quite systematic. It took entire day for various testing. The consultation fee was ok (850/-) but the test was costly. After test, they said it needs to be operated and the cost will be 50000/- per eye. Few other tests will also be required. That's too costly. The same operation costs 8000/- in the biggest eye hospital in my city. I understand, being a big hospital charges are high, but that high? It's over 6 times the cost of another hospital. Cost of other treatments are also huge. If you want to waste more money, they offer premium packages too. So be financially prepred before visiting this hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aditya Birla Sankara Nethralaya in short SN Eye Hospital at Mukundopur just beside Mukundopur Police Station and very close Tagore Heart Institute.
ABOUT :
This is one of the best eye hospitals in Kolkata. It has direct connection with its branch Chennai. Best doctors are available here for RETINA, Cataract surgery, regular test. Doctor visits ranging 850 Rs to 1200 Rs. Diagnosis is bit higher price than outside diagnostic about 30% upper. They accept credit and debit cards. Also help for insurance claim document.
LOCATION & FACILITY : It is located at suburb about 1 hour car drive from central Kolkata. But close by it, a lot of lodges, boardings and hotels available. For close by ride tri-wheelers are available. Food restaurants are plenty here. Accomodation at close by costs you 500 Rs. to 3000Rs. max in premium.
MONEY EXCHANGE : Dollar exchange facility, Bus or Air Ticket agents are available close by. However, for dollar exchange and SIM buy better to prefer Kolkata New Market for best rate.
SN HOSPITAL SERVICE RATING:
I took their service for my mothers Ratina spot and dad's cataract. Dr Rupok Roy was very cordial. The stuff and everyone's behaviour is very good.
BAD THING : Onething is to mention that you will have to spend 4hrs in a waiting queue which is really tough to be always. I will give a 4 star rating out of 5 and expect they should decrease this waiting time.
HOW EXPENSIVE THEY ARE : They are premium in Kolkata, So they charges premium. For cataract 30000 Rs to 90000 Rs and for Retina Injection ranges 40000Rs. to 66000 Rs. Better to come with 10 working days in hand for completing treatment. Taste ranges from 4000 Rs to 20000 Rs.
I do recommend this hospital. For Bangladeshi, they need passport and medical VISA with Covid vaccination card.
