★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was probably towards the end of February 2022, I came to know that my only elder brother at his 63rd year was having severe vision problems in his right eye. Immediately I contacted BB Eye Foundation, Baguihati for an appointment with Dr.Prashant Srivastabh. We got the appointment and visited the doctor. After few tests and thorough check-up Dr. Srivastabh said my brother's eye had 3 complications .1) Cataract...
2)High eye pressure {52-53}...suggesting Glaucoma,and
3)The normal God gifted lens of his right eye was dislocated massively.
All three of these medical conditions created a severe complication for my brother's vision. Dr. Srivastabh immediately consulted Dr. Sudipta Ghosh and suggested an immediate surgery, the delay of which may force him to the dark world of blindness. We, followed obediently what the doctors said.
At a date given by the doctors in late March 2022, one of the most complicated surgery was performed by the 2 doctors , at Netralayam, Mukundapur kolkata, which was 100% successful .The doctors and the Foundation continued with continuous follow ups after the surgery, till next 45 days with immense care and attention. Today my brother is seeing the world in new lights.
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Srivastabh and Dr. Sudipta Ghosh for their timely detection and support and decision.
Dr. Srivastabh is so very polite, patient friendly and an excellent human being, with extreme expertise in his own field. Once again it was proved, that Doctors are true representatives of the ALMIGHTY.
I wish him several future years of success and good health. He is an asset to mankind.
