★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a place of faith and worship. When you are here, you see saints around. Their presence infuses a new energy in your mind and you remain completely calm. When you view from the top of the fort, the view around here is very amazing. There is only one request from the people living here and going here that they should not make such a holy place dirty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fort is at the bank of river Yamuna and 100 meters away from River Ganga and Yamuna Sangam.
At the end of the fort, you'll see Akshay Vatt Tree. This part of the fort is only open.
You can't see whole fort because it comes under Indian Army, there is a unit inside this fort.
Lete Hanuman ji temple is also nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allahabad Fort at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India was built by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence with the river Ganges. It is the largest fort built by Akbar. In its prime, the fort was unrivalled for its design, construction and craftsmanship. This huge fort has three galleries flanked by high towers.
At present it is used by the army and only a limited area is open to visitors. The outer wall is intact and rises above the water's edge. Inside the fort there is the Zenana, Palace of Mariam-uz-Zamani and the 3rd century BC Ashoka Pillar and Saraswati Koop as well, said to be the source of the Saraswati river. The Patalpuri temple is also here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fort at allahabad or prayagraj is located on the banks of River Yamuna near the confluence of three rivers ganga yamuna saraswati also known as Sangam.
The fort was built by Akbar in 16th century and it us still standing strong that tells wonders about the architecture of past.
The fort is not open to public on regular basis.
The premises are very large and robust.
There seems to be some repairs going on the fort area.
Next to the fort is Badey hanumaan ji temple also called "letey" (lying down) hanuman temple.
Sangam, fort and temple are three closest spots to visit in prayagraj.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akbar fort allahabad or Prayagraj was built on 1583 by stone inscription but still this is on a good condition. It is situated on the bank of river Yamuna or sangam and the scenery and everything makes perfect for this fort . Their is an Indian Flag on top of this fort that enhances the beauty of this fort. I really loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Built by Mughal Ruler Akbar in 1583, it stands magnificently even after more than 430 years. Most part of this fort is under Army's control, yet you can see its magnificent windows, so high. You can well imagine and feel its history
