★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A secluded fortress, rocky terrain... need a 4x4 or strong motorcycle preferably Royal Enfield to reach rhe fortress. The fortress is closed and probably the respective Govt department is not looking after this beauty. A caretaker comes at times. It is known to be a outpost for Meena Kings, probably built in 3rd century. The path to reach the place takes effort and its worth the view.

Choose a good and a pleasent weather as it enhances the natural beauty of the place.
The fort is situated inside the dense jungle so one must go in groups as there is a chance of spotting panther.
There has been some political conflict at the fort so u may find bsf soldiers they won't allow you to explore to the fullest

What is the dispute?
Members of the Meena community say the Amagarh Fort was built by a Meena ruler predating Rajput rule in Jaipur, and has been their holy site for centuries. Independent MLA Ramkesh Meena said people from the community used to worship Amba Mata and other deities in the fort.
