In this year Aug 2020 my father was operated his open heart surgery, in this hospital, and my experience was fabulous. The response of Dr. Barun Chandra Roy and nurses are very good.. They took care of my father, he is quite well now, ICU was very clean... Review after 3 months..

I went here for gallbladder surgery under Dr. J K Shah. He is a very experienced, polite and humble doctor. My experience with him is extremely good. The hospital should improve its management system.

I was diagnosed with a stone in gall bladder in 2019.A few of my acquaintances told me about this hospital. But my own personal experience was horrifying. I just had one stone with size of a pearl still they asked me to operate that. And, post-operative care was so poor that it made me even more sick.Food was of very low quality, the attendants were extremely rude .Even the sheets with blood spots were not changed regularly and when my relatives asked them to change they charged extra money for that! I have asthma which can go to a sever extent despite knowing that the nurses kept the AC on with the lowest tempey and I had serious asthma attack due to that and when I wanted the MO to come and check me the nurses (who did that )neither allowed me to inform the doctor nor my family members. I recommend you not to go there to be butchered brutally.

Please don't call this place a hospital, you can call it anything other than a hospital. The doctors over there have zero knowledge, and their attitude is even worse. I understand people get emotional when they lose a near one and tend to misbehave or blame doctors which is unacceptable, but now I understand some part of it because few hospitals are nothing but cheaters. This is nothing but a cheating ground. I will explain in details why so: 1. Every hospitals even private hospitals like AMRI and Apollo accept "sasta sathi card", but they don't. 2. Usually in hospitals the admin staff talk to you about payments. However, in this hospital everyone but admin has asked to make them payments like the ward boys and other medical staffs. 3. There is no medical officer for any emergency purposes. Only ward boys and nurses are there. 4. The medical staffs who do eventually come for a while will talk to you with the utmost rudeness. As if they are doing you a favor. 4. No medical uniform for medical staff and admin staff. They charge you 2 bucks for opening your shoe (mind you not in an icu but you have to open your shoe even to enter the premises) and to use the toilet. Please don't call this a hospital. It is anything but a hospital. You can call it a temple (it literally has more idols than doctors, and they have 24*7 bhajan in place of 24*7 medical assistance), but not a hospital. My misfortune was that my naive grandfather took my grandmother with consultation from local people ( as we all stay out of station) in case of an emergency. It is not the mistake or fault if you lose someone even after the hospital tries, but it definitely is the cheapest thing to do is to try and hoax out money from a family who is losing someone very close to them. Please don't do the same mistake. Bringing a patient is giving them death sentence.

Anandalok Hospital (Karunamoyee) is so good for gall bladder Operation specially by Dr. P. K. Rampuria, Dr. J. K. Shaha is also good doctor. But this is running in shortage of staff, so they provide very deley service to patient party. One most important part is that there is "No Emergency" cases in Anandalok Hospital.
