β β β β β Been here for more than 7 years.Used to be a good authentic Bengali Restaurant.
Over time Food quality has degraded a lot.
e.g : Ordered Bengali hand made Mistidoi for desert, which was fully adulterated with Mother Dairy Misti Doi.

β β β β β Try Macher Paturi and Pabda/pomfret Jhal. They are best in the fish category.?? Do try aam Panna it's ? Ilish is supposed to be good which I didn't get to try.
For veg sukto, daal and jhuri jhuri aloo bhaja (obviously) is great. Rasogolla is great. A must try place for the Bengalis out of Bengal and anyone who wants to eat a bengali meal. βΊοΈ Best part is prices are okay! Go for it. :-)

β β β β β I had worst experience. It was on Bengali New Year I already had a table booked from easydine at 1:30 and I was on time. But for swiggy delivery he made us wait for 1hr before he served the meal and there were so many people leaving as he was not attending the customers in person. Staffs were also less. The person in the reception was only attending customers and swiggy people, taking orders online, cleaning the table after the customers left and on the other hand the cook was only waitor as it seemed. In order to give online delivery he stopped serving food on table. Overall the food tast was not up to the mark. The dishes were all sweet and not at all delicious. Ambiance also not good.

Wait time for getting a table is so long and place is so crowded in a small 1 bhk type room on 3rd floor. I had to wait for half hour to get a table. No water or tissue paper was provided on sitting at the table. I initially ordered Pulao, aloo posto, chicken curry,rice and fish fingers.
Food arrived after 15-20 mins after waiting
Fish fingers was good.
Chicken curry taste was bad and was bit cold.
After sometime of ordering they said aloo posto is unavailable.
Ambience is 2/5.
No AC. fan is there
Payments options are cash, gpay,paytm.
Overall a very bad experience.

β β β β β Went on 1la baisakh. Need to wait for 2 hours just to get food. Owner was keep on clearing out swiggy orders while others were waiting and he was not telling how much time it will take to loose customers. People left after waiting for more than 1 hour. Food was not up to the mark as well.

β β β β β Located in a lane next to a2b on 3rd floor ..
Since we were not much hungry got some food packed for ourself and had aam panna .. aam panna was very refreshing and got Bengali pulao which was actually basanti pulao , dhokar dalna , alu posto and prawn masala .. nice authentic taste and reasonable on pocket .. this place is more like one can visit for there everyday meal. The owner behavior was also very nice and friendly .

β β β β β Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch.
The sitting is simple, a few nice throwback food related poetry on the ceiling that makes you nostalgic.
Ordered the prawn masala, Alu posto, Bangali pulav and dhokar dalna to go.
The portion size was good, taste and freshness of the food excellent, especially the prawn.
Had their Aam panna sharbat to beat the heat, decently tasty. Would visit again?
