Look, if you want authentic bengali style biryani, that smell and taste, then visit here. Don't judge on the show business coz their place feels cheap but biryani is yum. My every friday diner is mutton biryani from here

The Biryani is amazing. (If you like Calcutta-style Biryani, that is) With exactly the right amount of spices and texture, is also a lot easier on your body. The chicken tikka butter masala is another dish you gotta try if you visit. However, if you are about location and ambience, not the place for you. No two ways about the food, though.

I ordered from swiggy, items were missing, too much of salt, too much of oil, quantity is very very less compared to the price, enter at your own risk here

Extremely poor quality of food. If I had the option of giving negative rating I would have gladly given -5 Ordered ( 3 biryani plates, cost 530rs) at around 7:30 pm. Received: 1. The biryani had two different quality of rice (basmati 5% + 95% normal rice) . Very evident that biryani was over and they had mixed both the rice just for the sake of completing the order. 2. Both rice were over cooked, (thankfully I didn't receive khichdi) 3. 1 Potato was bad among 3. 4. Raita provided had just salt and jeera (may be they had received free salt and water). Note: I have ordered same biryani 4-5 time earlier from here, and never had this poor experience. To daniyal's restaurant, If you have any respect for your customers, please stop providing such poor qualility mixed food else you might end up loosing all your customers.

Taste of Kolkata biryani truly relished. One of the rare places in the city where you get aalu in all biryanis! The quality of Mughallai food offered here is totally amazing. From rolls to biryanis - every dish that you taste makes you feel like you're in Kolkata or North India. The place is more like a comfortable food joint rather than a restaurant. The small and cozy interior is well suited for 3-4 groups at a time. The wash basin area isn't very clean. Service is good and expectedly polite. If you like potatoes in biryani, this place is a must visit!

the overrated restaurant who claims that they make kolkata style biriyani. Its wrong. Just add 1 small boiled potato(not boiled in biriyani). The rice is disgusting. Coming to chicken, they give 2pis chicken but the total weight of chicken less than 100 gm. Don't try biriyani here. 200+ price. Try different restaurant

Hands down its the best place for biryani. It's Lucknow style they follow, not the over spicy Hyderabad style. The price could have been a little less, but with the zomato offer it comes down to reasonable one. The chicken were enough for me although was expecting a little more rice. If you like the Kolkata style biryani your search surely ends here. The chicken chap is really good too.

Had chicken biriyani, chicken chap, tanddori roti and Raita. Taste is awesome. Ghraneno ordhobhojanam.. When they served the biriyani at the table with the smell my tastebud got tempted. Guys believe it is really authentic Kolkata biriyani, Quantity was also too good. Got two chicken pieces. Size of chicken pieces are little less in compare to the standard size. Salt was little less. Now let's talk about chicken chap, it is mind blowing. I got a leg piece , normally in chicken chap we expect a breast piece. No doubtly taste was perfect. Even raita was good. It's little bit different from the conventional raita. Little sweet but being a bong I liked the taste. After a long time I had the perfect tandoori roti. Appropriately baked, soft but crunchy. Taste wise I will rate :4 out of 5 Ambience is not that much great . 2 out 5 Service is also ok. 4 out 5. I had a conversation with the restaurant owner Mr. Hashmi. He revealed some secret behind the awesome taste of Biriyani. He used to import all the spices from Kolkata and the cook is also from Kolkata. He claimed, though he has started his restaurant three years ago, he can compete with other famous Kolkata biriyani joint like Aalishan, Lazeez etc. He believes he is the best.
