★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful ghat. Built-in 1806. The name is baro mondir ghat which contains 12 shiv Mandir. The environment and location is awesome. The place is located in sodepur. Very near from Sodepur traffic more. You will get toto or riksha from Sodepur traffic more to visit here. The river is almost clean and very beautiful in this place. There are lots of clean place to sit here and enjoy the moment.

The place is clean, good for early morning walk, Plenty of place where you can sit and relax , the view of ganges from here is mesmerizing .
There are separate washrooms so no worries .
wheelchair can be brought here but can face slight problem if you are trying to access the washrooms .
Parking is a problem if you are coming with a four wheeler. bike can be parked outside and you can enter with a cycle. overall a good place to relax .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganga ghat with wide open space. Beautiful view of ganga river. Sunset is mesmerizing here. You won't disappoint spending time here especially with kids. There is a garden too for kids activities. Couples will also find quality time spending here. Requesting WB Govt. Authorities to make better infrastructure like banaras.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a popular place among locals. 10 minutes by Toto (electric rickshaw) from Sodepur Railway Station. The complex has 12 old Lord Shiva temples and a Ghat at Hooghly river. The brick structures of old temples depicts the culture of Bengal. They are quite interesting in design and pattern. Hindu rituals after death are noticeable at the Ghat. A nice view of the river is always admirable. Carry your food/snacks and drinking water, as there are no shops available nearby. If you come to visit here, you should definitely go to the nearby 'Natun Kalibari Ghat'. The review of the place I will do next.
