Infact Behala Chowrasta is very busy, overcrowded place.. with heavy traffic & virtually no properly control traffic signalling system.
So its very difficult for general public for crossing the roads & traffic police never co-op with ordinary people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a planned Metro station which is under construction. It is an elevated station nd will have side platforms. It's a new Metro Line from Joka to BBD Bagh for a length of 16.72 km. It is situated on the Line 3 of Kolkata metro. It is exactly above the Behala Chowrasta intersection on D. H Road / NH-12. Train movement will be conducted at this station nd on the railway by communication based train control signal system. This signal system can operate a 5 second interval train. It will have disabled access too.
