A solid wall of boulders and rubbles runs along a major part of the 45 kilometer perimeter of the hill top in Mandu. The citadel is perched upon a rocky outspur of the Vindhya ranges. Traces of the first fortification date back to 6th century AD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just a historical Big door type monument comes in the way to mandu or Mandav.
Nothing else is there.
It has a name stone with which you can take a photograph.
May be once in a time it will an entrance gate for sweepers(Bhangi in local language in past at that time, abandoned this days) to come into the mandav palace.
However when you reach at here, mandu is merely 6 kms away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road towards the Bhagi Darwaja is difficult. If you are going to mandu rather take other routes if you are not a pro at driving, because even though the route is hellaa beautiful but it's way too dangerous.
