★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a big palace, would take you about 1 and a half hour if you take a guide along. The gardens are finely manicured, some or the other kind of restoration is always on, the views are amazing especially during monsoons. Wonderful experience if the weather works in your favour. Be ready with your photography gear, you can get some pretty breathtaking shots!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places in mandav. The gardens are maintained. The place is clean, toilets are clean which is outside the mahal. Gives a complete overview of the history this place has. And the mahal is huge and it will take time to explore and take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the great historical palaces I have visited…. It is named Jahaz Mahal by the virtue of being situated between two lakes because of which it appears like a ship..
Well maintained park and lake makes it beautiful place….
Entry fees for Indian adult is 25 rupees. Washrooms are quite clean..
Worth visiting this historical monument…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful historical place, well maintained by archeological survey of India. The palace looks like a ship during monsoon due to the waterbodies around and hence the name. It is amazing to see how they had system to pull water for swimming pools in the second floor even hundreds of years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a worth visiting place. If you are visiting Indore and plans to visit Mandu, then i must tell you people that it is place that will take atleast one full day (including to and fro trip). If you love history and also taking beautiful pictures, then its an amazing fort.
When you will be here, try Daal Paniya outside the fort. This dish is a speciality of this area. Quite chilly aaloo matar and daal with fried corn flour thing. Good item i must say, but just don't take tea with it. Something thanda is a recommendation
