★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice green patch in the administrative heart of Mumbai with an impressive statue of Mahatma Gandhi is anyone's place to sit, relax and contemplate.
This has Royal Palm trees planted in an unique line up. It has a circumferential walkway and two oblong spaces covered with creepers for sitting. It has well nourished bushy spot plants as hedge.
It's worth a visit in the early morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you were to poll residents within a 3 km radius or even the thousands of office goers within a few minutes of this monument and garden, I would wager 95%+ would be unaware of its existence!
It’s almost one of this locality’s best kept secrets - the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi ji, is one executed in its trademark style. However, it is nestled in a beautiful green & quiet patch amidst the concrete that surrounds it on all sides and just a few meters away from one of the busiest roads in the country….almost providing sharp contrast the way his ideals do to life today.
A good place for peace and reflection.
