Gateway of India is magnificient & historical structure at Mumbai and is a must visit place. A lot of crowd, most without mask. Harbour scene is beautiful. They also have half hour sight seeing boat ride in around 100-150 Rupees. Public toilets & periphery could be better cleaned.

It is better to visit it in Day Light because you can see the beautifully carved scriptures and the Beauty of the Gateway of India. The entry inside is absolutely Free, you can visit it anytime and anywhere. You can come here with your Family or with Friends also. Due to Corona pandemic situation, Masks are compulsory for all to avoid Corona patients. Here, you can enjoy boating, look around the beauty of nature, can click photographs for yourself. You can feed birds here. Gateway of India building is built in a proper design and beautifully carved with many scriptures and writings carved. You can park your vehicle outside and roam inside around it. At night it looks wonderful covered with lights. I love visiting this place whenever I come Mumbai and you must also visit this place once A.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place during sunset, I would recommend to do a ferry ride during sunsets, the experience is just amazing & surreal... Ferry cost around 80-125 INR depends upon which one you select.. please be sure to reach 1 hour before taking the sunset ferry because queues are very long during weekends. Overcrowded as always, but the ferry ride is must do experience.
