A big open space in the noisy city of Mumbai.
Plenty of young people do sport, cricket, socialize.
Greatest spot to take pictures of the surrounding buildings like Court or Clock Tower.
Also great space to escape a little bit from the honking, buzzing traffic and just sit down and absorb Mumbai atmosphere.

From the ground we can easily see Rajabai Tower of Mumbai University and Bombay High Court. In every 15 minutes we can hear ? bell ? from Rajabai Tower. The ground is situated in the south of Churchgate Railway Station. Oval maidan cricket ground is available on rent for playing cricket tournaments. Oval maidan's iconic Art deco line up was built up on reclaimed land post World War 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is good enough to accommodate lots of people at anytime to play cricket. At one time lot of matches were going on when I last visited this place. Many famous players might have played their chieldhood cricket in this ground. This is like a wankhede stadium for these people. Another good thing about this ground is it is surrounded by trees and since it is near to sea you can experince a gentle breeze throuout the day.
