★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a museum showcasing ancient coins, sculptures, paintings ranging from 10th century to 20th century, including Gupta period, kushana period etc. It is situated inside the BHU campus, the institute of management studies at front, faculty of arts to the right and faculty of performing arts to the left. The timing is 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except Sundays and University holidays. Entry is free for BHU students, and the entry free is minimal for others including Foreign visiters. Mobile phones aren't allowed inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bharat Kala Bhavan is a decent museum with innumerable artworks, paintings, sculptures, antique collections, coins. Very well maintained, neat and clean. Nearly impossible to cover the whole museum in a single day. A proud part of BHU.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museum is located in a peaceful location on Banaras Hindu University campus in Varanasi. It is much smaller than the museum near Sarnath. You will need at least half a day if you want to see it all, but you can spend as little or as much time you want. Rare coin and jewelry collection is in a vault and has more restricted hours. If you like antient artifacts, it is a great place. I am posting pictures without description, but in the museum, they are present next to artifacts. Enjoy your visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic wonderful and mind boggling place to visit. Never ever miss it to see this museum which has the best of art pieces, artifacts and antiques. Hats off to its Director and curator Prof AK Singh. Here are few priceless paintings on Mahatma Gandhi which are on exhibition now a days. But o e must visit to it to witness the sheer beauty and depth of these best collection of arts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited again Bharat Kala Bhavan since I have joined BHU as B.Sc. student now Ph.D.last year..while visit of Padmabhushan Prof R Chidambaram Sir, former PSA, Govt of India and really it was amazing and was like again visiting first time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was also the heart of banaras ,BHU,etc not vT temple,old vishwanath,sankatmochan,durgakund,ravidas Mandir etc.
If u art lover ,u better know n understand to Bharat Kala Bhawan .so please visit but presently museum was closed last 3 year during Corona, but u are PH.D student welcome to see u..thanku dear
