★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is full of touts and commission agents (Dalal). Specially if you go there intending to buy clothes like Saree, Lehenga etc. and if you have a lady with you, you will find in every step people surrounding you, will try to give you direction to a very special shop or to a very special market where things are very chip and in wholesale price. DON'T i am saying again Don’t listen to them. If you follow them, they will take you to the shop and they will get a cut what you will buy from them. And as they are getting the cut, so price will not be chip. Just avoid them, DON'T listen to them. Go by your wish and see around and check several shops for price before you decide to buy something from here. As a foreigner this is my experience. Locals certainly will have different experience than me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Market is very crowdy from Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sunday. It's a whole sales market. Don't bargain if you are buying single or two pieces of product. They apply fixed rates if you are a wholesale customer else they increase price a bit for non-wholesale customers. I visited around 20 shops for a wooden router machine of endigo brand. Only one has stock but most of them told they have stock but I had to wait for 10-15mins. Later found that those shops didn't hv stock but they lie you & call other shop owner if other has stock. You'll waste for time. Market is clumsy, dirty, doesn't have proper entry & exit, no parking, toilet, not spacious , no fire control system. You hv to walk a lot so be fit. Else you'll be very tired at the end of the day.
