★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When anybody want to visit Kolkata there are plenty of prepaid Taxis outside the Railway Station. This is far better to visitors and tourists because they will charge according to distances and safe travelling also. If you have low luggage just walk on through HOWRAH BRIDGE to other side because of its suspension system you feel great happy and pleasure. I myself many times walked other side of the Bridge and felt great pleasure. From orher side they are plenty of Taxis and City Buses will be available. Kolkata is the number one Metropolitan Service in India and now many Indian States are constructed and constructing Metro Lines. And another one TRAMS services are available only in Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Howrah Tram Depot is used to be a very important tram depot but now is vulnerable to extinction. Now only 2 routes are operational from Howrah Tram Depot. You can go to Rajabazar and Bidhannagar from here.
