★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Age old, prestigious institution to study science and technology in India. My alma mater. This is one campus of University of Calcutta, in Rajabazar. So the name goes. The courses offered here are mostly MS and PhD in basic sciences like Physics, chemistry, applied math, Psychology in the main building. There are some technical departments like computer science, Radio physics and communication, optoelectronics, chemical engineering etc. They offer post-Bsc Btech courses, and MTech, PhD other advanced degrees.There are several cheap canteens available, amongst them I would really recommend the 'Tech canteen' which is a small shack like bistro near the end of the campus, in the vicinity of technical buildings. They have fresh and hot different lunch/snack options to offer. Still, I guess the needs to have some more better and hygienic cheap place to eat. And, also it lacks in clean and maintained washrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very old and reputed college of our country, many reputed personality of Bengal are the student of this institution. Located very centrally in APC road and many bus and other vehicles from Shaymbazar or Sealdah station take you up very easily.
