★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience - No one picks the phone. NRE customer's face lot of problem when trying to get in touch with the bank staff. Emails too are not responded. They need to seriously think of solving on customer interactive initiatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid opening account in this branch.Most of the time the server is down. The branch really need to focus on technical side. For a normal task you need to visit atleast 3-4 times because of their server issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC SERVICE at Canara Bank Vikhroli West branch. Their procedures are archaic. Most of the staff don't cooperate & are very rude. On the death of my father, I enquired with the lady at the counter if he had any Fixed Deposits since I was aware of only one FD that he had. I was only cross checking with the bank if there was any others which I should look for among my father's banking documents. The lady at the counter told me rudely in Hindi, "I don't know. Ask your mother!" . I was taken aback. I told her calmly that my mother passed away some time ago. Only then she reluctantly checked & gave me a proper reply. My sister who is the nominee to my late father's account there submitted personally all required documents 2 months back to claim our late father's account (deceased claim). Till now the account is open & the funds are not transferred to her account despite her account being in the same Vikhroli west branch. The number of documents the bank asked to do the needful was crazy. Despite giving them everything 2 months back, nothing has happened. My sincere advice please don't choose this bank for your banking needs. Your nominee after your demise will be struggling to get the funds in your account the way we are struggling.
