Library is the 2nd Asia's biggest Government Library situated in Shastry Bhawan for public for Research purpose, any one can become a member of this library who is heaving Delhi s residential prof . CSL is having a great / rich collection of documents books, government publication as well as foreign publication this is the best place for knowledge wish to visit again and again 175 to 200 students visit daily for study who is preparing for UPSC and other examination
Every month CSL is organised a book exhibition on verious subject

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very quite and clean place to be, one can study with no worries and a positive vibe around. Membership is only dor central government employees though others can access book within library and are not allowed to issue the same. This place opens at 8:30am and closes at 6:30pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want an access to this library you will have to fill a form everyday to book your slot for the next day. Highest no. of slots are 30, They are refusing to tell their capacity. If you have a capacity of 100 or more, it’s super easy to maintain a strength of 40-50 or even more. Also one of the staff is highly obnoxious with an attitude problem. The person I spoke to was rude, obnoxious, disrespectful and didn’t knew how to address any queries. When I asked his name, he got scared and disconnected the phone. Also their library form is so old-fashioned and has the most unfriendly User experience (U|X)
