★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will not see any animals here except a caged elephant and deer during jungle safari. Peacock and jungle hen is commen and can see through out your journey. Not allowed get out from the vehicle inside the forest. Should bring some water and food as it is not available here and very much required. Rs 1000.00 is the rate for jungle safari rate for entire vehicle. Can seat 6- 7 persons. While booking ask the counter about the total kilometers they supposed to bring you in that rate and time taken also note your starting km and time. Otherwise the driver bring you somewhere nearby area and return. Don't except to see free elephant here and the enjoy the ride only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply an Awesome place . I can't describe the journey. It was a beautiful ride for us. Adventures ride and full of enjoyment.
But after reaching to the destination, we just felt it like Kashmir.
It's not advisable to go there. We didn't know .
As it's purely comes under elephant zone.
Unknowingly we explored that place as there no prohibition board anywhere.
So my opinion is not to visit that place. It's very risky .
As one of the forester said if any elephant will kill you then you will be only responsible for this. And we also come across snakes on the way .

Normally we are moving around cities & accommodate with AC and used to vehicle. When you are going to outside this type of places you will remember your some past memories. Nestled on Khurdha uplands of the Eastern Ghats biotic region, Chandaka forest is spread over 175.79 square kilometres (67.87 sq mi) of rolling table land and small sprawling hillocks of Khurdha and Cuttack Districts. It was designated as an elephant reserve in December 1982.
