Over the years Chowman has maintained the taste and quality and kept reinventing with new dishes. Also the hospitality of the staff is awesome! Very welcoming and absolutely delightful

β β β β β Starters were definitely a thumbs up! In main course we had mixed fried rice, chicken rice noodles with chilli chicken and butter garlic fish. Both the rice and noodles were way too blant and didn't have any unusual taste! Chilli chicken was average and the fish was below average. In dessert we had walnut vanilla and brownie with vanilla icecream, both of them were good. Overall the experience was okay!

β β β β β This rating only applies to my last visit here. Was little disappointed when they said Tofu wasn't available. Steamed Momo seemed dry and they served it without any sauce. Chili Mushroom was really great, so was the Lemon Proper clear soup. They were playing almost appropriate music for an oriental restaurant. Great for family dining. Will I visit again? Definitely YES, and I'm sure I'll be able to change my rating.

β β β β β Recently, this place has done a massive revamp of the veg menu. I loved every bit of the entree (crispy corn in kafir lime, baby corn with honey and man chow soup). The baby corn with honey was on the sweet side if you don't like too much of it you can avoid it and rather order the crispy chilly baby corn.
In the mains, burnt garlic fried rice and pan-fried chilli paneer were scrumptious.
It's worth a visit for an unwinding dinner after a long day.

β β β β β Yesterday we visited with friends When we first saw the restaurant it looked a little small but when , inside the chairs were pretty comfortable and WALLS DECORATIONS WAS BEAUTIFUL.food was delivered in time and the sound are very good, they even provide takeaway menu that was cheap as compared to dining menu price, We ordered chicken noodles, CHILLI CHICKEN, crispy fried tofu, mushroom chilli etc everything was really good except VEG MEIFOON.
Good and friendly staff, i like their taste comparing to other Chinese restaurants near ballygunj .

β β β β β Excellent dine in experience. Came for a lunch and ordered more food for home because of taste. Excellent Kolkata style Chinese food. Excellent service staff headed by the manager Mr Dutta. They are very kid friendly too. Must try the Kolkata Style Chili Chicken and the Jumbo Prawn.
