About CoCo Ichibanya
Always moving briskly and responding sharply with smile. In abbreviated form, we get the expression “Briskly, Sharply, and with a Smile.” Although it is a simple expression, it is not easy to do. Having a feeling of gratitude, looking eagerly ahead, putting forth one’s best effort – if these behaviors are not solidly acquired, we cannot provide customers with refreshing service. Therefore, we will continue to be conscientious about taking action ” Briskly, Sharply, and with a Smile.”

β β β β β It's a nice Japanese restaurant with simple yet authentic food. Food is made with correct flavor and texture. Mostly, it is not crowded and that's why we prefer to visit here. Staff is polite and ambience is calm. There is a separate kid's menu too, which is an advantage for families.

β β β β β A good japanese curry place in cyber hub with really good prices. If you don't eat spicy much then stick to standard level of spice. Must try their desserts.

β β β β β 5 stars for service. Very attentive and prompt.
4 stars for the food ( you get tasty Japanese curry with many options of toppings to choose from).
But would it be easy to find repeat customers in a country where there are plenty of curry options. Countless Indian curries from various regions, thai curries, Sri Lankan curries, Chinese food etc are available in India.
The Japanese curry served here is a nice, but it's a single flavour on the menu. The lack of variety would certainly be the reason why I was the only diner or take away order in the 45 minutes i spent during a busy weekend lunch hour.
Can not fault the restaurant but the concept might be very very difficult for a country with variety of foods.
But i would definitely recommend everyone to try Coco atleast once. For the unique Japanese curry flavours which we love.

β β β β β The staff is very courteous. The quality of food was good. Also they are able to tweak the spice level. We received the spice levels that was requested. Children were able to eat the food well.
If you like salads, I recommend the mixed salad. This was really filling and had Tuna.
Quantity of food was also good. We ordered the meal with 200g of rice.
Restaurant was clean.
The selection of music is also great.

β β β β β So we ordered Chicken Cream Spaghetti, Fried Fish and Seafood Curry, Seafood Curry (theyβre two different seafood curryβs). Before this we have also tried their Chicken Cutlet Curry and Eggplant Curry all of which have won our hearts!
So at first for us Indians, the Curry might taste as any usual (ramen) curry. But as you take your fifth bite, your taste buds will start developing the actual flavour of the Japanese delicacy!
The curry for every dish is the same which at first, was shocking for me and sounded boring.
You are asked to choose a level of spice for every curry that you order (on a scale of 10). I went for a 3 and as I like my food low spicy. But a 4-5 is perfect for people who love spicy food (tried and TASTED!). The catch here is the way they cook their curryβs main ingredient (meat/fish etc).
Mine was the Fried Fish and Seafood Curry which we tried the first time and was the talk of the table. It had at least 3 different types of fishes in it including fried and cooked prawn fishes. The amount of rice with it I chose was βStandardβ which was good enough for me but for people who like to eat a lot of rice may go for more rice options! The normal Seafood Curry without Fried Fish was seen to have Basa Fish in it and is a beautiful dish for Basa lovers!
The Chicken Cream Spaghetti was exquisite as well! It was creamy and cheesy, just the right amount and filling as well! The spaghetti was not very sweet and there was enough chicken in it for every bite! Whatever you pay for is worth it, here!
The ambience was nice and cozy and their staff is very friendly! When entering and exiting they greet you in Japanese as well, which is a very nice custom and not seen in many restaurants here that promote a certain countryβs culture and food.
They have an open kitchen and we were advised well by the staff as to what is best to order (including the spice levels) as well.
I have included un-edited pictures of the curry so that you can see for yourself how each of them look.
We have tried many Japanese delicacies before as me and my family love Asian food (Japanese and Chinese majorly) but here we enjoy the curryβs so much that half the menu has already been tried and tasted by us. If you want to taste a TRUE Japanese Curry once in your life, this place a must visit and hence the five stars!

β β β β β Loved the place!
Ambience: Its a family restaurant with spacious seating and pleasant interior. The open kitchen view adds life to the not too fancy set-up.
Food: They serve retro Japanese curry dishes which have a serving of rice(200g), spicy Japanese curry topped with either veggies or meat. I ordered the Chicken Katsu curry (fried Chicken breast) and it was spicy and delicious and super filling. They have many combos with a variety of veg/non-veg side dishes, salad and drinks. Also tried their newyork style cheesecake which was fresh and oddly satisfying.
The staff is courteous and helpful. Received recommendations too. Would definitely recommend you visit this place once to try some Japanese western combo cuisine!
