★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bandstand used to have acircle around which horses would trot, for children to ride on. These have moved onto the main road and are rarely there. The garden has been improved with working swings, slides, monkey bars and merry go-rounds for kids. Unfortunately they've also added rubber matting which collects bird droppings and gets dirty over time. It will definitely be less painful for children to trip and fall on, but they don't get the natural and sustainable mud to play on and can be a flood zone during monsoons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to visit. It has a pretty good garden to sit down and relax.. The play area has a good variety of activities to keep kids engaged. The best part is the centre area where steps are made to sit.. Ample parking space available

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been a regular visitor at this garden when there were horses inside taking rounds, good parking space, green areas and lawns and old styled swings, slide and other play stuff for children.
However, the garden has been revamped and the children's play area has been reduced to just one patch of land in one corner of the garden with lots of the colourful plastic play stuff (slides, swings, merry go round etc.) which one sees everywhere these days. It's nice and it does attract a lot of children but I really miss the grandeur and greenery of the earlier layout where we used to play as kids.
Green lawns are still intact, which is good, and there are orchestras/performances held in the amphitheater area within the garden, lending a very nice feel to those within.
Always a nice feeling coming here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a gorgeous outdoor performance space. I was here for a free NCPA-sponsored Indian classical dance recital. It was a beautiful evening. The stage was decked up in flowers and other ornamentation. The seating spaces are tiered like an amphitheater. The view is quite good from virtually any seat; however, for certain performances you will want to move toward the center even though it might mean going back a few rows.
It’s a real gem of a space — something for the city to cherish and for citizens to enjoy.
