★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The skywalk has not only changed the nearby landscape but has made the walk to the temple relatively easy and comfortable. There are escalators & stairs to the skywalk and right now only one point of entry is open. The skywalk has a covered roof and very well lit. There are shops situated in the middle lane of the skywalk & they sell everything from miniature idols to prasad/sweets/chunni for Puja purposes. It starts from Rs.21 and can go upto any amount you want. Plastic containers for filling Ganga Jal is also available in these stores for a minimum value of Rs.10. There are no eateries on the skywalk however. There are two exits with Gate #1 being the primary exit that will bring you right at the entrance of the Dakshineswar Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely maintained skywalk which connects to the Dakshineswar Temple area ??now none have to walk in the sun with an ☂️ ? also it has amenities like stairs and escalators, you can buy prosad or drop your shoe in the same shop which is available in the skywalk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well constructed skywalk that directly connects Dakshineswar Temple to Dakshineswar railway station and the metro. A pathway free of crowd and traffic, has a nice view,free of cost and has escalators to ease your journey.
It has well suited lights which makes it ok to walk at night and makes it beutiful.
Skywalk has shops for the offerings for the temple at the middle.

There is no car and other vehicle ,you also buy many things from the shops, which are inside it.
It connects dakhineswar temple to dakhineswar Railway station, matro station and bus stand.
Make the route easy for the visitor of dakhineswar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dakshineswar Skywalk is 318m long. It is Kolkata’s very first Skywalk. It has 7 pairs of escalators for up and down and has 4 lifts. You can get a wide view at the left and right of the skywalk as there is no cover at the sides. The roof cover is made of poly-carbonate. Dakshineswar Skywalk has 138 shops for sweets and flowers. At the end, there is a sitting arrangement.
Dakshineswar Skywalk is well maintained and has all security arrangements. It has fire extinguishers in many places and 4 fire exits. As the days go it is getting more popular and people are coming to visit Dakshineswar Temple more to see this Skywalk also. The skywalk creates a connection between the traffic rotary and the entrance gates of the Dakshineswar Kali Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This have been the newest construction in dakhineswar kali temple area. The skywalk relive the crowd, gathered in the junction area of the road. This also beautify the atmosphere of the kali temple. Previously this place have been too much crowded from the station to the temple. Now the place have become relatively peacefull and calm. This skywalk have lift and escalator on both side, from the station and also from temple complex. The skywalk have been directly connected with the dakhineswar rail station .
