★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the 2nd station of Howrah - Santragachi Section of South Eastern Railway. It does not have a Foot-bridge facilty and no time-table for any train. Sometimes no announcement is even done.
There is staircases and way to roads nereby from the Northern End of the platform. From here you can get autos, totos and buses to Howrah , Bankra , etc.
There are trains from here to Midnapore , Kharagpore , Mecheda , Panskura , Amta and other places. Toilets are there but locked permanently. It is crowded during morning and afternoon commuter hours and is deserted after evening. Since the place is situated in an industrial belt , the place is very polluted but the station premises are quite clear. Drinking water facility is there but the water is not so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dasnagar station is well maintained and big in area that allows passengers to easily board or depart from train. There is green trees on both sides of the station.There are 3 platforms in this station. The ticket counter for the trains is near the stairs which lead to this station.
