★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So it's usually crowded in morning to reach office and in evening to reach home. Nice and small station, good atmosphere, so many office passenger used this station. The line was commissioned from Dum Dum railway station to Majerhat railway station on 16 August 1984 !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heritge Station on the Circular Railway route which is of utmost importance and situated at the Heartland of Financial Capital of East India. It housed the primary Offices of all the Banks and RBI.
Here the RBI was Central RBI Office during foundation in 1935 but shifted to Bombay (Now Mumbai) in 1937.
All Central Government, PSU, Maximum Private Companies are having Head Quarters/ Controlling Offices for Eastern India, here.

THE FLYING DUTCHMAN on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of important railway station in Majerhat Barasat, Bangaon, Ballygunge, Kalyani etc line. This station is really crowded in the office time but in the other time it is not busy. This station is the also connect Howrah Railway Station to Kolkata by ferry. It is also popular for Millenium Park and personally this train route is one of my favourite rail route.

It is situated between millennium park and strand road. The station is well connected with the howrah railway station with ferry and bus service.
