I went there to apply for duplicate RC. Eventhough the fee is to be paid online, some extra amount other than that has to be paid at the cash counter which takes time. Staffs are so busy that they won't tell us much what to do and where to go. When i went there after 5weeks to know the status, they just asked me to wait for around 1 hr. Finally they told me to go other room and another guy and get the status. Staffs are ill mannered... Office is not maintained well. Searching proper counter is itself a task..

Very bad experience with the RTO office at Koramangala office. Once you go there these agents grab hold of you as if they are trying to help. They literally behave as if they work there officially. One agent took my licence for getting duplicate along with the money and has disappeared since. When i can be simple switches off the phone. Please be careful, don't trust any of the agents there. Definitely don't give your original documents and money upfront. If they agree to get the work and then accept the money you can go with some risk. Better to directly approach the personnel in uniforms and get directions from them.

The Way Clerk's Behave Even Gazetted officers Doesn't.Especially Lady Computer Operator in Hypocetation Removal Division.

Very slow process, officials are rude, do not guide properly about the procedures. I had to wait for hours just to get my ll test done

KR market is better than this place. Most of them are time pass just getting paid using tax payers money. No rules regulations. Full of brokers. My advice not to go early and stand there, it's better to be there around 12 to 1pm. Most of the crowd will be gone by then.

Horrible place..hot bed of corruption..very poorly maintained..hounded by agents and touts.. Cut off timings: Document submissions: 1.30pm everyday Fees payment : 2.30pm everyday by cash or DD only. Closed on second saturday and all other state government holidays.( Open full day on other Saturday's) Additional documents need for vehicle transfer( not mentioned in the website nor told during 1st visit) 1. In case of transfer of vehicle to another RTO (based on the buyer's address) the owner has to submit a letter requesting for No Objection Certifcate. ( This will be issued free of charge within 30 days of letter submission) 3. Self addressed envelope with atleast Rs.20 postal stamp. ( NOC will be sent to the sellers address within 30 days) 3. Card board file/folder to hold all documents ( for white board car : RC book/card copy, address proof copy, passport photos, emission certificate, Aadhar copy, PAN copy, life Time tax paid challan) 4. Official fees for ownership transfer of white board Car is less than Rs.500 (as on Jan 2018), while agents ask more than Rs.4000! Finally, a small request: Urge citizens to please visit the RTO and get the things done by yourselves..its not impossible..just need a bit of patience and its your right to demand for the services you need..only citizen's active engagement can help improve the services..pls do not encourage corruption..its a national responsibility ??

Overall efficient service but the whole northern section arpund the restaurant stinking of urine. Appears that no one has been allowed to clean bathrooms there for quite a long time..all floors

*Shameless Govt Staff at Driving License Office (at new HSR location) OPENLY ASKING FOR BRIBE* Sharing experience for online application for Driving License at RTO Koramangala. Date of approval of Driving License: FEB 2021 My experience of getting Learning License then giving driving exam for actual License was fine. (although I was shocked to see the utter mismanagement and the rude behaviour of the staff but hey what more we can expect in a govt office). Now comes the actual game. Although my Driving License was approved and a license number was allotted by still I had not received the license. When I checked my application status online it said "DL waiting to be printed". I waited and waited till December 2021 when I lost the patience. Online application status was yet the same. Since there was no working number of RTO Koramangala I was was compelled to visit RTO office in person. First I went to Koramangala office there I came to know that is has been shifted to HSR. Then I went to HSR. I went to Driving License section. There started the drama of extracting BRIBE. First of all the VIP clerk was absent during working hours. I waited for almost 1 and the half hour. Then he came and started talking in a very rude tone as if he is the CM himself. He asked to be get outside and wait for my turn since his main source of income i.e. the agents were already there and he did not wanted to be disturbed. After 15 mins he called me and told me to find my DL in the bundle of DLs which were not shipped for some reasons. (spoiler alert: reason was BRIBE ) I showed him my smart card. Then he SHAMELESSLY ASKED ME FOR 500 INR. I asked my for what ??? He told me that I WAS SUPPOSE TO COLLECT THIS DL FROM RTO OFFICE in Feb 2021 itself and why I havent collected it. So it is a storage charge. I told him it is RTO responsibility to mail this DL since we have already submitted self addressed envelopes. He told me there was no envelope submitted (again a shameless lie.) I kept refusing to pay. Then he asked me to bring him again a self address envelope. I gladly accepted this and went outside and bought from a nearby shop (as I did first time). When I presented him this envelope HE BECAME FURIOUS AND THREATEN ME THAT "EVEN IF YOU SUBMIT THIS ENVELOPE STILL IT WILL TAKE MORE TIME FOR THIS DL TO BE MAIL LIKE WHAT HAPPENED PREVIOUSLY." I could not understand what to do or say that point of time. HOW CAN A PERSON BECOME SO SHAMELESS ? ARE RTO OFFICERS NOT AWARE OF SUCH BUSINESS? IT WAS A GOOD STEP TO DO THE DL PROCES ONLINE BUT STILL THIS LEECHES FIND SOME LOOPHOLE AND START THEIR BRIBE BUSINESS.
