★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since we came post lockdown was over, it was a pretty fast process and was done within 1:30hr. Before coming for final Certificate, we came for enquiry & got to know the process only happens on Tuesday and the list of documents required.He asked for the documents like address proof (one of us should have local address proof), DOB proof (10th certificate), marriage photo and card, couple photo 2b size & took some time to process. He charged Rs 665 asked to verify spelling & then handed us the certificate. We got legally married ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the office it is written as "do not contact third parties" but if you want your work to be done faster, influence of these third parties are more. This you can see while applying for marriage certificate.
These third parties over their, they ask 3 to 4k for marriage certificate to be done which you can get it for 650rs through office directly.
And these office people has to provide receipt for the payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited for marriage registration on Feb 2019. The person who told me all the process was very polite and explained the things properly. There is no language bar, they speak Kannada, hindi & English. He told what all documents required and to whom you should submit the form. Then the guys who was taking the form told us don't go for any broker and all come to me directly. So we filled all the forms and submitted. He verified all the details of Xerox copy with original documents and told us to wait. We waited for 20-25 minutes and then he told us to check the spelling of the name address and other details which will be printed on the marriage registration document. Then after that we waited for 10-15 minutes and then he asked us to pay the registration fee that was rupees six hundred and sixty five. I had a change so I paid that amount. So after that we signed all the relevant documents and then registrar signed and said congratulations!! We thanked and left the place. First time I had a very good experience with government employees. I didn't thought that this process can be done in a single day even on Saturday.
So if anyone is looking for the document what is needed for the marriage registration I've attached an image of the same. And keep original of all the documents. Thats all. You can normally visit the place for the enquiry also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old building in one of the poshest locations in Bangalore. The office generates huge amount of money for the government coffers yet has no lift for senior citizens & differently abled citizens. No clean toilets and inadequate seating space.
It is a potential fire hazard with the way files are stacked and are rotting here. Pls see the photo uploaded.
