Nearest metro station is Kabi Nazrul and nearest bus stop name is 6number bus stand, from where we can access bus for Baruipur, Shyambazaar, Esplanade, Alipore, Sector 5 etc. People can also get auto from here to Gariahat more and Patuli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good college, with great faculty and pretty big classrooms. Airy corridors and pretty big campus for a government college. Lacks a playground and isn't in a really great condition. Requires a little more maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent. I went to the down memory lane. It is my alma matter where I had studied Zoology Hons almost 18 years back. There was no large building next to the IGNOU building. Now a new building is almost ready next to Microbiology and Sericulture or IGNOU building. We used have sandwich only for Rs 2/- and Egg chowmein was Rs 4/- per plate. There was no fencing in the ground. Actually this ground belongs to both college and Recreation club. We used to go to the Link photo copy shop. A new photocopy shop was launched just opposite to the college. M.Sc. Zoology course was introduced in 2000. The then CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharya came to our college in the mid February of 2002.
