★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy place. All kind of busses are available here to go any part of West Bengal. Tatanagar and Dhanbad located in the neighbouring state Jharkhand are also connected by bus. The national highway NH-19(formerly NH-2) passes through Durgapur which connect this city to the rest of India.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moderately cleaned. Not a safe place to wander about as many buses rush in and out. Counter is polite but rushed in answers. Snacks stalls are there for grabbing a quick bite. Over all travel cost is cheap for the govt run buses
