★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dearest sis-in-law ordered iftar for us from here (since lockdown is in place, it was delivered from their central kitchen, Cunningham Road) and we were simply blown by the items ordered!
We had the lamb wrap which felt straight out of the streets of Istanbul! The mutton pieces, veggies and the soft naan ? around them tasted amazing.
The triple chicken salad sandwich reminded me of the deli sandwiches that I used to eat 2-3 times a week from Tamimi Markets in Saudi Arabia. A suggestion- don’t toast the bread at all. Keeping it as it is makes it even more delicious.
I’m not big on salads but the shawarma salad was nicely done. Lettuce could have been a little more fresh but full marks to the chicken and dressing.
When the sesame dragon chicken noodles ? came on my plate, I was afraid that it would be on a spicy level that I wouldn’t be able to handle. But thankfully, it was an excellent mix of flavours and savoury. I’m partial to Chinese food and this one I would certainly have again.
The kids had BBQ chicken pizza ? and sadly I couldn’t take a bite of it and only a few crumbs were left behind.
Amongst the cake ? slices, the Almond Brittle cake was rich and I love chocolate so 10/10. The Matilda and White Chocolate Dream (a bit too sweet for our liking) were alright but the show stopper amongst all was the vanilla bean eclair. Felt right out of a French bakery.
The food overall was delectable and flavourful. For a family that has lived abroad for 25+ years, very few restaurants in the city impress us. This one certainly made the right mark on our taste buds, hence the detailed write up. Would love to try other items on the menu. Good luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came across flour power randomly on zomato and it’s been in my bookmarks ever since. I finally dropped by to check it out. The place is inside souther star hotel in lavelle road. It’s a small cozy place with a really elegant decor. The flower decoration of the place makes it look extremely classy yet cute. One of the best looking cafe/patisserie in Bangalore.
I ordered three things from their menu : Classic Nutella pancake , coffee tres leches and a Matilda chocolate cake. All the three items were divine. Not only were they good looking but tasted heavenly. The desserts were extremely fresh.
The pricing is a bit on the expensive side but the quality of the desserts are such that it makes up for the money.
I’m in love with the place and the vibes. I had a great time here. The hospitality is really appreciated. They also make customizable cakes for birthdays and events.
I’d totally suggest this place if you’re looking for a cozy cafe with a mesmerizing decor and wonderful desserts.

I only buyed 1 cupcake here but it costed me 184 Rs!!!!!!! I was really disappointed with the fact that 1 cupcake is this costy??♀️
I would not recommend this place for people who don't want to spend this much money for pastries...:(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small nice place in Lavelle road. They have both indoor and out door seating.
We got a good selection of pastries. We went with Hazelnut cake and tres leches cake. Both were excellent. The portion size is just right and the taste is amazing.
Teh staff were very helpful too. She showed us all the cakes that were available and recommended some pasta which was very good too.
With pastel colours and warm lighting, the Ambience is pleasant despite being a small place. The pricing is slightly higher but we felt that it was worth it.
