★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experience I had ever had. Never buy any insurance from this company. I am taking a pain to write a detailed review for everyone to understand how this company is doing the fraud. I took an insurance PBW/000000016881and they had made an error by not sending any payment link after inspection last year and they stated there is no need for any further payment. This year August there was a claim renewal and in May I met with an accident. My car is stll in the service centre for last 20 days and I have been told to pay the complete money and I cannot claim the insurance although there is no mistake from my end. I have made some 100 calls to follow up and service has been ridiculous. I have been again told that they will inspect the vehicle and I need to pay money again. Post to that they will only give 50% of the money although it is covered under insurance. One of the worst insurance company and trust me Kotak team you should be ashamed of running a company like this ! Don't cheat people. I am going to file a case on this issue however I wanted to ensure people are aware of this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company sells car insurance to you over phone. They never follow up if NCB is wrongly applied or not until you apply for your claim so that they can conveniently reject it. You get hundreds of calls to take the insurance, but apparently don't followup for this stuff. BEWARE!
I cant believe they put my car of 5.3 IDV at RISK for a NCB bonus of 1k. What would have happened if there was a major accident or a theft!!
Worst experience ever... Never buy car insurance from them... They wait till the first claim to make sure to let you know that your insurance is in effect or not!!! Never doing business with them again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst insurance I have ever seen. My car met with an accident last week. I claimed for insurance and the surveyor came for it. There was a clear dent in bonnet with a deep cut in it. He didn't approve that saying it is old one. It was clear that It happened because of the accident, but he was in a urge to deny it.
When it came to payment part, first they ask me to pay 1k because it is a cashless claim. But when bill came it was 2k since voluntary payment column was there. When I took the insurance, they never mentioned me about this and even when I called for claim registration they didn't inform me. It is my fault to believe this guy's without even reading the document.
I spoke to the customer care supervisor, but of no use. He doesn't know how to handle a case. Poor customer service.
I spoke with the surveyor again and that too ended up in same as above. He was like 'I am super technical, I know everything'. I think he doesn't know even the basics of erosion. Pathetic surveyor team.
So I advice every one not to go for Kotak car insurance. They are in a mind of cheating and looting. Please go for some other insurance company and don't even keep this as an option. This is my first and last policy with Kotak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience i had during renewal of my car Insurance. Customer care will called me gave very good offer, they made me opt the policy, 2 months before only they asked to submit the post dated cheque. I had submitted all the document. when the expiry date has come they were telling we will send you cover note which you can use for 2 months if policy not generated. After so many follow up finally i got my car Insurance that too after a week of my Insurance expire date. So pathetic experience, i will never renew any insurance in Kotak GIC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst insurance company, I've experienced recently. They accept the claim as per their wish. Won't consider the actual situation happened. Illogical reasoning. Worst ever experience. Guys, even though if it at lesser cost please don't go with this insurance company. No value for customers, too late response and won't accept complete claim. Only part of claim will be approved. I suggest you people not to go with this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't ever purchase insurance from Kotak. They will cheat n misguide the customers. Even after making the payment for the SMS gateway , I got SMS saying that you would receive the policy in 2 working days. Even after 2 days I have not received the policy. I have called customer care multiple times, but no use at all. I never suggest this company.
