β β β β β The worst service. Beware of one employee named Alankrita who will throw attitude on you if you are soft spoken. Service at govt banks are getting better, did not expect it from HDFC. Mr. Umesh Chandra will pretend to get the work done but does nothing for weeks. I wouldn't say HDFC is bad but this branch is the worst in Bangalore. If you are in HSR layout avoid this branch and head over to the 27th main branch where service is far better.

β β β β β The staff do not have any any knowledge in addressing an issue. Makes the customer wait for hours to get an issue resolved. They made me wai the whole day for a single print out o their letter head as they did not know how to do it. I visited the nearby HDFC bank on 9th Main 22nd Cross Road, where they helped me in 10 mins and my issue was resolved. If you need to quick responses and no waiting do not visit the 17th cross Road branch. Pathetic service.

β β β β β Deposited a cheque for clearance, so that I can my pay my EMIs on time. Next day onwards the bank got closed for the entire week saying someone within the bank got affected with COVID without sending my cheque for clearance or handing it over to the other HDFC branch to process it.
Now all my EMIs got defaulted. Apart from paying the penalty fees for cheque bounces, my CIBIL score also will go down and won't be eligible to take any loan for next few months.
Who will take responsibility of this?
Also, they put a notice to the customer with typo as "Closed till 09 April 2021" instead of "Closed till 09 May 2021" - thus we cannot take that as a proof to show any one.
What a irresponsible idiots.

β β β β β I regret opening my current account with this branch. The RM, bank managers all are very useless and unreliable. You cannot depend on them for helping you at all.
Please look elsewhere, hope it will save someone a lot of misery. I will sadly have to bear the pain of making the mistake of opening an account here.

β β β β β The staffs are good and customer service oriented. The branch manager presently: Mr Deepak Mahapatra is more than interested to know customer queries and complaints. I love the professionally warm atmosphere there. The problem is that, there's only one teller window to handle all the deposits and withdrawals.

β β β β β Went to HDFC BANK HSR layout branch for forex card, to my surprise the service is so poor that they made us wait for more than 1 hour to just get the forex card.
There is no one in the branch who knows the process, they will keep you directing to different people and nobody know the process.
We reached the branch before 3 pm and after waiting more than 1 hour at 4:05 or 4:10 pm one of their representatives say the cutoff time is 3 pm and we cannot issue the card.
This sort of behavior and attitude is unacceptable, we felt that we will close our account with HDFC BANK immediately and open an account with bank which understand customer and when the customer visit at branch, they can guide.
I have an account other bank like Kotak for more than 8 yrs and never had an issue with kotak bank I also got forex card from kotak branch in 15 min after they did the document verification.
After sitting for more than 1.5 hours at hdfc bank Hsr layout finally one lady started to look into the matter, after we made some noise.
It seems they dont like to take your application or until you show your concerns with their process.
They will provide good service only in case if you want to take loan with them.
I never wrote a review this long, you can imagine how frustrated I would have been that led to write this.
