★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Sunny... I have such fond memories of this place.
Have been eating here since mu childhood... having grown and bought in shell colony. The food has an authentic kerela taste and spices that will make your heart go for more.
The staff is very warm and if your a Malayali then... Your from the same village... Hahahha...
In the queen of suburbs you have a king of kerela cuisine... Much to the likes of Sneha and Madina from Mahim.. try those as well if you love God's own cuisine
To try... All things beef, the surmai fish curry, chiken biryani.... And papadams... And the mor vellam, i. E. Butter milk in Malayalam... Enjoy the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Shell Colony, Chembur !!! Authentic Kerala cuisines both veg and non-veg (fish, egg, chicken mutton) are available. Awesome taste and friendly staff make a great combination for a must try pleasurable experience. Good options for Veg eaters, their sadya sp. veg thali is a must try. Non-veg eaters can relish, lot of options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is decent (good) and they have good kerelian dishes. The hotel is air-conditioned. Only thing the hotel is a little difficult to be seen amidst the other shops of all kinds around it. From the outside, it looks really small. The surroundings also misleads one as inside its quite neat and clean and there is another room inside which can only be seen once one opens the main entrance..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had lunch and Dinner here. The quality of kerala food and South Indian style is very good at this part of Mumbai. I tried to find a good place to stay and finally found this place. A good place to stay for a day or two, except Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed.If you are looking for a clean room and can rough it out . This is the place I'd suggest at Chambur

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the joints that serves good non veg South Indian food. Everything we ordered was good, fish, prawns or even mutton. Thali's are good and filling. Quantity and quality of Ala carte dishes is good. Food however served is slightly like warm due to coconut oil preparations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dishes we ordered did have "the taste of Kerala", and the quality was good. The portions were satisfactory. It appeared that the dinner service starts at 08.00 p.m, while at most of the other restaurants it begins at 7.00. We had dropped in at 07.40, when there were no other diners. Our order was taken at about 8.00. Service was satisfactory. Considering the ambience and the overall quality, the tariffs were reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a good, economical, no frills but clean non veg eatery for lunch/dinner (without the smell of alcohol, permit rooms or bars) on Shell Colony road, ,then this is the place. Service can be a bit slow but the quality and portion is worth the fare. And they have quite a good varied menu. So, if diet or dietary factors are not irritants in indulging, then enjoy this restaurant.
