This Masjid is located near to Isa khan’s tomb in Humayun’s tomb complex. A well structured and beautiful design of masjid with a wide pavilion and garden surrounded to this Masjid. Weekly Friday prayer used to happen here, so if you are planning to visit on Friday during afternoon then you can attend the Salah. Daily five times prayer doesn’t happen here but you could if you want. Good place to visit, Mughals are muslim and their garden in their fort a good example which represents heaven.

The Isa Khan tomb complex is a walled area adjacent to Humayun’s Tomb and is the resting place of Isa Khan Niyazi, a noble of influence at the court of Sher Shan Suri. A mosque and an octagonal tomb built in the Sur style are enclosed in Isa Khan’s walled complex. An inscription on a sandstone slab over the mihrab inside the tomb dates the construction to the Hijra year 954 (A.D. 1547-1548). The complex is the first historic structure encountered by visitors on entering the World Heritage Site complex of Humayun’s Tomb.

The Humayun's Tomb complex is probably my favourite historical site in Delhi. The complex is a beautiful park with a lot of old ruins. Most importantly, it is such a peaceful and calm place that one almost forgets that they are in Delhi. It is a lovely place to come picnicking and/or escape the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Humayun's tomb is considered to be the precursor to/ model for the Taj Mahal. The difference is that unlike the Taj Mahal, the construction of Humayun's Tomb was funded by a wife grieving for her husband. As the other similar complexes in Delhi, there many old tombs around - some of them almost in their original state and others are just an indistinguishable pile of stones. The Humayun's Tomb complex is definitely one of the places to visit if you are in Delhi.
