β β β β β Hostess 0 stars: I requested a table for 8 on the elevated section. I was told there was a party of 30 expected and absolutely no flexibility. There was noone who occupied that section! Throughout lunch we kept struggling on the boxed in sofas getting in and out.
Buffet lunch 1-2 stars: uncooked rotis, overdone fish and chicken, no finesse in the cooking.
Desserts 1 star - 1000 selections, none of them were edible.
Service 0 stars
Bored and Uninspired staff- a whole lot of waiters and chefs and managers only interested in browsing their own phones and talking to each other. Zero attention paid to any of the tables. No water served, no plates cleared. I waited my own table for my family - expedited rotis, brought napkins, water. It was absolutely ridiculous !!!!! Are the waiters and staff at work??? Or is this just their homes where they expect someone else to do their work ??
Jw marriott, I am shocked that you stand for this and rate yourself 5 star. Shoddy and poor, uncoordinated, unprofessional. This is easily the worst hotel in your portfolio, if its run this way. I had to go and tell your manager to stop browsing his phone and pay attention to the guests. Surprizingly awful conduct from the staff.
I will escalate this to the Marriott exec teams- The security camera recordings from our April 28th lunch needs to be pulled, analyzed and the GM should be held accountable for the performance from his team.

β β β β β Been for a lunch buffet with team. Not many choices like barbecue nation or other restaurants. Yet the limited items tasted good. Nice ambience and covid protocols are followed. Overall a good experience.

β β β β β One of the best buffet brunches I've ever had. The spread is very wide and covers everything from South Indian to Carribean!
The service and ambience are top notch like you'd expect from a 5 start hotel. The salads are really good. The spring rolls deserve a special mention. Their South Indian dishes are pretty decent too.
I didn't like the North Indian and desserts selection theat much. The place was buzzing on a Saturday afternoon and was very lively. The manager gave us a 15% discount which was neat!

β β β β β At the outset we were disappointed about the quality of food not from JW .the service levels have been excellent
booked table for 6 on the Friday 8th of apr 22 for setting outside in open . Reached at 12.30 and were ushered to place in open adjoining the main e area of JW kitchen . The chairs were not neat some with stains and lot of flies which we cannot help as it was close to cubbon park .
On the food : Tomato soup and appetizers were offered on the table and it was good . there is good spread of deserts , but some of them were not good to mention almond kheer , was not done properly and the milk was raw and was not blended properly .
For vegetarians there were 2 vegetable that you can have with Nan and in that Yellow dal was spoil t and was smelling .
there were many people behind the counter at desert they never offered any help , when i asked for cup to take kheer they were looking at me , yes we all know it was buffet but we couldn't find cups. At the end asked for south Indian filter coffee , came quickly in a nice brass tubler and davara ( saucer ) but it was Luke warm , it was brought after heating and the coffee had more chicory and taste old decocotion .
I would think twice to go again and our experience was bad and it very expensive for the quality of the food served . The service levels have been good

β β β β β Visited for the Sunday Brunch. Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and the staff always had their masks on. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Our waiter, Vaibhav was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and there was a lot of variety on offer. The dessert was massive and that was good as well. Great atmosphere with really nice people.
