One of the most fun places in Mumbai. But only during 'kala ghoda festival" time. You should check schedule of the festival before visiting.

First time I visited it when there was having exhibition. The experience was very good. Got the opportunity to watch new things in that event. I just got some information from Google about it "Kala Ghoda is a hip, creative area with designer cafes, indie galleries and sidewalk art stalls. Jehangir Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Modern Art showcase contemporary visual arts, while a mix of history and arts exhibits are displayed in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum. The annual Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is popular for its edgy installations, performances and discussions"

Full of adventure I have visited Kala Ghoda festival with my friend. I was really surprised to see a collection of masterpiece of art here. Really they were amazing. It is free of charge and there are securities to prevent any unrest there. It is a place where one will have the estimation of the hidden talents in India. There are various hand work architecture to see. Dance, dramas are also performed by the many college students. Full of adventurous items. Kala Ghoda festival is full of fun and must be visited.

A tribute to the artistic heritage, culture and spirit of Mumbai, this location hosts the well-known annual event of the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, which is popular for its edgy installations, performances and discussions; a hip, creative area with designer cafes, indie galleries & sidewalk art stalls. Located next to the Jehangir Art Gallery and a few minutes walk from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus,

I have written earlier. It's a nice quaint place. Has a typical "The town" charm about it as ppl from suburbs call the original Mumbai city. The Kala Ghoda statue itself has come up only in the last 5 years. With Covid 19, the star attraction of Kala Ghoda - the Kala Ghoda Festival / Annual fair is anyway on hold. You can Just stroll around this place for hours. Lot of eateries around, lots of pubs around. Even roadside options to eat and experience Mumbai street food. Shopping options aplenty, from Westside, Globus, Croma, Fab India, Global Desi, AND, Ritu Kumar, Nikhil and Shantanu, Shaina NC, Akbarallys, Bombay Store. Walkable distance from Gateway of India. Hours of shopping in Colaba causeway. Watch a movie at Regal Cinema - old world charm of a single screen theatre. Otherwise Inox Natiman point is 10 min walk or a 5 min taxi drive. Just next to Kala Ghida is Prince of Wales Museum. Keep half a day for that! Walk down to Marine Drive and explore another world of Mumbai. So Kala Ghoda is beckoning you. Plan three days for in and around this iconic place. A proper relaxing experience, plan 5 days. You will get a good feel of South Mumbai.
