โ โ โ โ โ I have been studying here since 2007 and its 2018 now. I am studying here from class 1. The old building of primary and secondary classes need renovation but the senior secondary wing is superb. This school has a volleyball court, basketball court, squash court, gym, swimming pool, and all other things like labs with modern equipments. It has made me what I am. Thank you K.V. sec-8!

โ โ โ โ โ One of the Best schools of our time(2010). I still miss those days when we had lovely teachers, amazing friends and those childhood days. Scouts and guides was the one program which let me explore different places. Lawn Tennis, Hockey Skating, playing in lunch time, heavy rush in canteen, camps etc are the moments which i cherish forever ?

โ โ โ โ โ Excellent school in the locality. The teachers ( especially the senior secondary one's) are the best . Excellent ambience. But the school lacks facilities in outdoor activities such as there is no ground to play cricket, football etc on . There is only one basketball, volleyball court in the school. The canteen is also not well maintained. The labs are well maintained and clean and they have the latest equipment and instruments. There is also an ATL lab , i was also a senior member of the lab (2017-2019) . This school has everything to offer to your kid .....

โ โ โ โ โ WE studied in classes 6-8 (1970 -73) and then class 11th (1976-77).
In 70s the school was in tents. But we still loved the school.
We had a Maths teacher, Mr. Nangia who used to beat us and other children. There was one Mr. Chulet, who too was a terror for students. It's because of Mr. Nangia that i developed a distaste for Maths. But love the subject, intuitively. I had a chance to meet Mr. Nangia around 1981 or so when i was doing my MA in Philosophy from University of Delhi. He was standing with a group of his friends near the School of Music Lawns (close to the Central Library). The conversation went something like this:
Me: "Are you Mr. Nangia, who taught Maths in Sec VIII, R K Puram."
His face lit up that someone had recognised him and he told, "Yes".
Me: "Mr. Nangia you remember me, Indu Prakash Singh. Who was there in your class."
He nodded with a smile.
Me: "Want to just ask you, do you continue to beat students mercilessly, still the way, you used to beat me."
I told his friends, "Mr. Nangia was a merciless beater."
And then i left, as i had vented out what lay in my heart since 1970s.
But for these TERROR - teachers, we enjoyed the school. There was an Atri Ma'am. A wonderful teacher indeed.
Hope we don't now have any teachers who beat the students in this School.
Don't take what I have written about the school to be the only truth. We did our 11th class too. By that time the school had become good.
Now, I know the school must be good with some great Principals. I had gone on two occasions, in last three four years, to the school and gifted my 5th book CityMakers, to the then Principals.
I got to know today, 10th May 2022, that Mr. Nangia's services were terminated from KV., Gole Market.

โ โ โ โ โ Well this school is one of the best school in R K puram as well as in Delhi, fee is affordable, school infrastructure is good and well maintained, they also have very good play ground, swimming pool, gym etc
Gym and pool is available for out siders but there will be nominal fee for that.

One of the best school among the other kv's. I studied here from class 3 to 12.
Missing those days.
Now what facilities are available here
This school has a football ground.
Volleyball ground.
Basketball ground.
Long tennis court.
Squash court.
Swimming pool.
And a gym but students are not allowed there at my time.
And if you ask me about the faculty - 10/10
Ambiance - 10/10
Teaching-10/10
School located excellent location so you don't need to worry about transportation.
