Kinara and Tatini Tourist Lodge - Dakshin Balarampur

Nice please to stay in a solitary place with delicious dishes.

No basic amenities. We didn't get wifi, proper internet connection or ATM. Food was extremely basic and the lodge lacks basic hygiene practices. Staffs are less hospitable as well. However, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea.

Overall it is very good. The property is located a few hundred meters away from the sea and bang opposite the Sankarpur fishing harbour, it is indeed a great location. The property has a restaurant / dining hall which caters homely food at reasonable price. The property also offers great rooms at extremely attractive rates. The beach near the property is almost like a private beach and would be liked by people who look for low populated areas. There are beach side shanties that offer tea, biscuits cakes potato chips etc to breakfast lunch and dinner ( on order ) at very reasonable prices. A great weekend destination for low to mid-end travelers. Rooms can be booked online and from their booking office at ultadanga ( located on the top floor of a building that houses a Bata shoe store, at vip road/ultadanga crossing. )

Food was bad no hygiene maintained. No wifi, no internet connection, no basic facilities including pharmacies, no atm, no cashless transactions. Staff members are less hospitable and have a 'don't care' attitude. However, one can enjoy clean and beautiful view of the sea beach.

Bathroom is horrible,it seems they hardly clean it once in a year,,bathroom floor is terrific.room is avarage,hotel staff are good.but rooms are need to be cleaned

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms. The behaviour of the staff is friendly and helpful. The beach at just 5 minutes walking distance.Its a highly recommend, If you want to spend your weekend in a quiet and secluded environment

Owned and operated by BenFish, this lodge is a hidden gem in the area. The resort is the closest one, to the Shankarpur Sea Beach. Located just opposite to Shankarpur Fishing Harbour this humble property boasts of magnificent surroundings comprising of trees and The Sea at a throwaway distance to say the least. Plain and sober from the outside with no show of any flash and glow like The Nest or any other property around, "Kinara and Tatini" can leave you appropriately satisfied with it's simplistic yet humble rooms. The rooms were large, spacious and with an adequately large bed with clean bed linen. The air conditioning was good and powerful enough to keep the room cool and comfortable. Coming to the washroom, it was neat and tidy as well. This property has an in house restaurant serving superbly tasting meals at affordable prices. The food served was fresh and delicious. No scope of complaints at all on this note. Room bookings can be done online and the room tariffs don't burn a hole in your pocket. If you do not have any aversion to staying at average to above rooms, then this property is worth a try. There are quite a few negative reviews in the web and needless to say the staff seem to be working on those aspects and their over all approach depicted the same. The property does need some attention and maintenance and the staff can be more cordial and a bit more warm in their approach. That being said " Kinara and Tatini " can be a good weekend destination if you are in pursuit of calm, peace and silence. A good to go lodge providing good services at affordable prices.
