★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderfully maintained by the caretaker Mr.srivastav ji , without any entry fee . The size of the place speaks about the simplicity of the great soul sri.lal bahadur sastri ji , and it is small museum, with a very good picture gallery and preservation of his old house . It hardly takes half an hour to complete. Though lesser illustrations are in English and more in hindi , and the route is a little difficult to trace from the main road , it is very impressive that it is maintained better than the nearby Banaras fort of ramnagar . If you are able to visit , kindly contribute whatever you can to the caretaker, for the man is as simple as the house and the great man whom it housed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit if you're in Varanasi. It is the paternal house of former Prime Minister of India Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. Cleanliness is very great and whole life event of ShastriJi has been beautifully stored here in picture gallery. The place is so simple and peaceful and you'll also get to know that being a prime minister of such a vast and diverse country how simple ShastriJi was. This really a worthy place to visit for students, writers and for anyone who loves simplicity free from the rushing world.
