★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Saturday, the entry fee was just Rs.5 for Indians, but the catch is u can't pay cash, digital payment, only PayTM code was there,even my advanced OnePlus 9 Pro could not read that, at last the security guard guided me to open Google camera to open,get link and paid through Google pay, i was wondering how a common man can use this digital payment, mindless creation. You can't carry ur phone and handbag, there is a locker facility but seeing the safety we didn't use, i sat outside only my fellow companion went inside. The museum close at 5 PM but the staffs closed the gate at 4.45 PM, one family came and requested them to open, but initially they refused later on they understood that he was a big official, all in a sudden everything changed, they opened it, there was guide for them and they carried mobile phone and bags. They kept open after 5 O clock also. They are not friendly for common man, the authority should look into the payment method. I was told the collection of artfacts well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an amazing experience to see the collections from the ancient Ashoka empire. It was fascinating to see how people in those times dressed and the various instruments they used in their day to day life. The place is nearly maintained. Ticket must be bought online. Mobile phone is not allowed inside. But Camera is allowed. Overall I recommend to visit to get first hand experience of the human evolution.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is buddhist historical place. Ashoka Chakra & Ashoka piller are placed inside the museum. A 8ft long Buddha statue is placed just opposite side of the museum. Entry ticket will only available through scan pay by paytm or other wallet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful and peaceful place , I got to learn so much about Buddhism at Sarnath. If you are visiting Sarnath for the first time , I will suggest pls hire a tour guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's great to hear Buddha Stories etc. But frankly there's nothing interesting to 'See' (atleast Indians would not enjoy much). Foreigners/ Architects may like. In case you plan to go, then take a guide, only that will make it interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *Sarnath is a good place to visit. Have seen and read many old artifacts in history books, which will be seen here.
*The ticket price is Rs 30 which includes museum and park fare. You can book the tickets via Paytm (Scan QR code at the entrance gate)
*It closes early by 5.30 so plan a day for the first half.
*It is just 10-12 Km away from Varanasi, but due to congested roads and choked traffic journey time is more than 45 mins
*Mobile phones are not allowed inside the Museum premises, but you can carry a digital camera.

Entry price ₹25 for Indian.
Buying tickets is available only on online mode.
You have to scan QR code and enter 1 National I'd then pay for purchasing tickets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Kashi lies this place of abundant serenity where you can pause to recollect your thoughts and just make sense of everything in the calm. The place is a regular for Buddhist monks meditating and others to just be at peace. It's usually never crowded here and the tranquility is to feel for. History buffs would also be enthused to visit the Sarnath museum.
