★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Lands end garden' is one of the most beautiful garden in Bandra. One may get confused on identifying this garden. The 'Lands End Garden' is located between Khadeshwari temple and Bandra Fort. The famous amphitheatre is located within this garden. The garden has plenty of coconut palms, Taadgola palms, frangipani flowers, flowering plants, trees, shrubs, bushes etc. Mind is at peace when seeing the greenery around. There is a beautiful lotus pond while going to the hilltop of this garden. One can view the Bandra-Worli sea link on the hilltop. This garden is home to various birds and squirrels. Mumbai is a city where existing greenery is getting destroyed and rapidly getting converted to concrete jungles with artificial air-conditioning units thus adding to he congestion and giving rise to the urban heat island effect. It's sad that birds have to lose their homes because trees are getting cut to satisfy the real estate profits.
